Buttons allow users to perform an action or to navigate to another page. They have multiple styles for various needs, and are ideal for calling attention to where a user needs to do something in order to move forward in a flow.
There are five button sizes:
-Used for the key action on the page or modal, for example, Search, Sign In, Print, Create, etc.
- Can be used for singular, secondary features that lack a related primary action button. Or can be used for primary actions where added visual attention is not needed (Sign In on a marketing page).
- Sections of marketing content should use outline buttons to let the user learn more about the promoted content.
- Optional features on a page or container
- Toolbars, tool menus, or other lists of tools
